* "If you learned from losing, it wasn't a
loss." Brian G. Jett

"Go through the darkness and come out the other side.
When you think 'I can't stand another minute of this,' know that you can.
When you think 'I won't make it through another day,' know that you will.
When you can't take another moment of the pain and the fear
and the feelings of hopelessness, realize that you just have.
Endure the heartache and come out heartstrong.
Endure the tremors and the grief and the isolation
and come out sturdy and robust and ready for another round.
Like a diamond in the making, endure the heat and the pressure
for what seems like eternity, and emerge with a new brilliance and clarity.
When you think you've come to your end, dig deep and endure."
(Katherine Hepburn)

One
sees great things from the valley; only small things from the peak."
"Constant kindness can accomplish much. As the sun makes ice melt, kindness
causes misunderstanding, mistrust, and hostility to evaporate.
"We cannot tell the precise moment when friendship is formed. As in filling
a vessel drop by drop, there is at last a drop which makes it run over. So
in a series of acts of kindness there is, at last, one which makes the heart
run over."
"Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a
listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of
which have the potential to turn a life around."
"Someone once wrote: "Happiness is always a by-product. You don't make
yourself happy by chasing happiness. You make yourself happy by being a good
person." The happiest people I know are people who don't even think about
being happy. They just think about being good neighbors, good people. And
then happiness sort of sneaks in the back window while they're busy doing
good."
If you go looking for a friend, you're going to find they're very scarce. If
you go out to be a friend, you'll find them everywhere.

Thou shalt
not boast. Prov. 27:2
A small man makes long,
loud boasting in order to center
the spotlight of attention on himself;
the great man works quietly,
Silently polishing the beacon that it may
guide the ship safely into the desired haven.

Circumstances or people can take away your
material possessions, they can
take away your money, and they can take away your health. But no one can ever
take away your precious memories...So, don't forget to make time and take the
opportunities to make memories everyday. To everything there is a season and a
time to every purpose under heaven.
